A ray of sunshine! {Victoria BC family photographer}

I was supposed to meet up with this adventurous family downtown -- they were in Victoria for only one day, as part of their vacation in the Pacific Northwest, visiting from the New York area. As soon as I pulled out of my driveway, raindrops started to fall on my windshield! I crossed my fingers and toes and prayed for the sun to come out, but no such luck!

But as soon as I met them, it was like they brought their own piece of sunshine along -- they were not one bit fazed by the drizzly weather, and were quite excited to do the session, even in the rain! I knew then that we would have fun regardless of the weather! Such an amazing, easy going and fun family!

There was another thing that surprised me in a good way as well. I asked the mom how she found me, and she replied that she looked up a bunch of family photographers in Victoria, Seattle and Portland, and out of all the photographers, she liked my work the best. Needless to say, my jaw dropped when I read her email, and I felt quite honoured and humbled as well.

Thank you for a great time you guys! I hope you had a wonderful vacation, and a great time in Victoria -- you sure made my day!!! :)
