Hanging out with Santa, 2011 {Victoria BC photographer}

We had the pleasure of photographing the little ones with Santa for the second year in a row at Mothering Touch again this year. Even though last year's Santa photos were a big hit, we still had a much bigger turnout than we were expecting! As a result, I only had 1 or 2 minutes per child, so we had to work faster than ever! But we still managed to get lots of adorable photos, don't you think? ;)

I am so grateful and humbled that so many of you decided to participate. We collected over $1100 for Baby Eleonor! (She is the little girl in a purple dress in the first photo. She is fighting a very rare form of cancer.) My heart breaks for her and her family, and I am so thankful that I was in a position to help her family raise some money for her.

Here are some of the photos!
(Hope you like the captions my husband insisted on adding :))

So let me get this straight... Candy AND every toy imaginable if I come work for you?

Hey sis... I don't know if I can hold it!!...

Outfit too much, huh?... Well, this little baby just landed me an Elmo AND the Fisher-Price! So Nah!

He REALLY likes me!

So, Uhh... I'm thinking a nose trimmer...err... sorry, got distracted... Where was I?

So, uh... can you throw in a few of those candy canes I see over there?

Hey, Ma!... You gotta check this thing out, it's so life-like! Whoa... it's attached!

Gee, this is WAY more comfortable than Daddy's Lazy-Boy. Mommy was right, he SOO should've gone for the heated seats...

Mommy?.. Why are you walking away?

I'm ready for my close-up, Dah-ling!

Why couldn't we have just emailed him our list - like NORMAL people?

Little Santa-in-Training: "Wake me up when the presents get here... (ZZZzzzzzz....)"

So Porsche AND Jaguar... You rock!

Seriously, Mom... is this guy for real?

Talked to the "Big Guy"... Okay, that's it... Now, only 30 days, 8 hours, 34 minutes...

He said I couldn't get the Pony!..

These are amazing Konul! Not that I'm surprised at all, but still, you never fail to impress! Those families are so lucky they had you there to capture such innocent, beautiful moments with probably the best Santa I have ever seen!
