What childhood memories are made of -- Victoria BC children's photographer

My husband and I have made an intent to focus and feel gratitude for the people and experiences around us, so when we went to Crumsby's the other day, we had a lot to be grateful for. That day, it was about the amazing imagination of children.

Do you remember when you were a kid playing pretend -- maybe playing house with your friends (or in my husband's case, planning a battle between the Transformers and G.I. Joe.)? I can distinctly remember how all-encompassing those moments were to me as a child...

So, when I saw my daughters "playing tea party" at Crumsby's, I couldn't help but smile and remember when I was that enthralled with dainty tea cups and making sure the pinkies are held high -- "It's the proper way you know..." says my daughter.

With the holidays just around the corner, I need to remember to take the time to play with my kids, and continue making "little memories" like these. Because simply playing with my parents are some of my own happiest childhood memories... I couldn't imagine anything better!
