The joys of face-painting! -- Victoria BC photographer

Kaia loves getting her face painted. Every time we go to an event where there is face-painting, she bee-lines straight for the face-painting booth, and eagerly waits in line, no matter how long, to get her face painted. I swear she has a radar for this kind of thing! I love taking pictures of the whole process, because there is such joy on her face, it's hard to describe it in words. Here is a sample of what I'm talking about.

First, notice the big, incredulous eyes, as she catches a glimpse of her beauuuuutiful face in the mirror: Can that really be me????!!!!

Then, the recognition: Gasp! It really is me, and I am BEEEAUUUUUUUTIFULL!!!!!!

And third, when I ask her to let me take a picture, and she is still glowing with happiness.

Ah, the joys of having a girly girl. :)
